Run the whole job from one record

Equipment custody, time, safety evidence and job costs, filed as one register — from a two-truck crew to a two-hundred-hand outfit. The numbers payroll pays. The pack your COR audit opens with.

The modules

Five modules. One record

Everything files against the same job sites and the same people — so the timesheet, the tool and the incident all agree about where the crew was.

Locked for payroll
Time

The punch stays raw, forever. Payroll gets one paid number — after rounding, grace and auto-lunch — so nobody argues about hours twice.

Checked out
Equipment

Custody, not a list. A tool is with someone, at a job site, since a date — or it is in the yard. At fleet scale, that’s owning instead of re-buying.

Signed
Safety

Tailgate talks, FLHAs and incidents — signed on the spot, dated, append-only. Voided, never deleted.

Invoiced
Materials and invoicing

Costs land on the job that spent them, the day they were spent. The invoice is already itemized.

Estimate
Jobs and estimates

Estimate, schedule, invoice — the same record from the first number to the last one. Modules switch on per organization; a two-person crew runs Time alone.

Safety and COR

Your COR audit is already filed

The day the auditor calls, the evidence pack exists. Not a binder to assemble — a print of what your crews already signed. Across every crew, every site, every province you run in.

Append-only by design. A record can be voided — stamped, kept, still shown — but never edited or deleted. That is what an auditor is checking for.
Signed where the work is. Talks and FLHAs are signed on the worker's phone before the shift, not typed up in the office after.
Prints black-on-white. Clean PDFs on your letterhead, severity intact. The product mark sits small and mono in the corner — the pack is yours.

The field app

No signal. Still on record

Job sites don’t come with bars. The field app writes every action to the phone first — the network is an afterthought.

Clock in at the gate, not at the coffee shop. The punch lands the moment it happens and syncs when the truck gets signal.
Sign the talk in gloves. Targets sized for a job site, not a desk. Nothing under 44 points.
The office watches it arrive. Rows appear in the console as crews sync — no phone calls, no whiteboard.
Built in Canada

Made by Canadians, for Canadian contractors

Not a US product with the spelling changed. Tailgate is built around how contracting actually runs here — the audits, the paperwork, the winters where the truck is the office.

COR is Canadian. So are we.
The safety module is built to the Certificate of Recognition — the audit your provincial certifying partner actually runs. Not OSHA with a find-and-replace.
Your records stay in Canada.
Hosted on Canadian soil, under Canadian privacy law. When the record is your defence in an audit or a dispute, where it lives matters.
Every province, every timezone.
Org-timezone on every date, exports your payroll actually takes, and support that answers in your working day — not California's.

Common questions

What happens to records if a worker leaves?

People are deactivated, never deleted. Everything they filed — punches, signatures, incidents — stays on record under their name.

Can a timesheet be edited after approval?

No. Once approved it’s locked for payroll. Corrections are new entries with a reason, so the trail shows both.

Does the field app really work with no signal?

Yes. Every action persists on the phone before any network attempt. A worker can clock a full week offline and sync it Friday.

Is this enough for a COR audit?

Tailgate produces the field-level evidence — signed talks, FLHAs, incident reports — printed clean on your letterhead. Your auditor still audits; the binder builds itself.
